At CPR2UNM, we strive to provide fair and transparent policies for all students, groups, and organizations attending our CPR, First Aid, and emergency response training programs.
CPR2UNM — Authorized AHA Training Site
Thank you for registering for a CPR2UNM course. To ensure the best possible experience, please arrive on time and wear loose-fitting, comfortable clothing. Many of our classes involve hands-on skills and may require kneeling for extended periods. We look forward to training with you.
Cancellation Policy
If you must cancel your appointment, CPR2UNM requires at least 24 hours’ notice prior to the course date.

24+ hours notice:
You will receive a full course credit, valid for one year from your original training date. -
Same-day cancellations:
Not permitted. No refunds will be issued.
CPR2UNM-Initiated Cancellations
CPR2UNM reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a class under the following conditions:

Natural disasters
-
Extreme weather conditions
-
Power outages or facility closures
-
Instructor emergencies
-
Any event beyond CPR2UNM’s control
If such an event occurs:

You may reschedule without penalty, or
-
Hold a credit with no expiration
-
Reschedule without penalty, or
-
Receive a full refund
No-Show Policy
You will be considered a NO SHOW if:

You do not attend your scheduled class, and
-
You fail to notify CPR2UNM at least one day prior to the start of class.
NO SHOW students receive no refunds or credits.

2. Late Arrival Policy
Students who arrive 15 minutes or more late may not be admitted due to certification requirements.
Late arrival is treated as a no-show.
3. Class Cancellations by CPR2UNM
If CPR2UNM must cancel or reschedule a class due to weather, illness, facility issues, emergencies, or low enrollment:
- Students may choose a full refund, OR
- Reschedule at no charge
4. Certification Requirements
Refunds will not be issued if:
- The student does not attend all required class hours
- The student does not successfully complete required skills
- The student violates safety, conduct, or classroom rules
Students may request additional remediation or a retake option when appropriate.
5. How to Request a Refund or Cancellation
All requests must be submitted by email:

- Reason for cancellation or refund request
Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days once approved.
6. Group, Corporate & Off-Site Training Policies
CPR2UNM provides professional on-site CPR and First Aid training for businesses, schools, medical offices, and organizations. The following policies apply to off-site training:
A. Deposit Requirement
- A 50% deposit or purchase order may be required to reserve all off-site classes
- The remaining balance is due on or before the day of training
- Deposits are non-refundable if cancellation occurs less than 7 days before the scheduled class
B. Off-Site Cancellation Policy
- Cancellation 7+ days prior: full refund of deposit
- Cancellation within 7 days: deposit forfeited
- Cancellation within 72 hours: deposit forfeited + $75 late cancellation fee may apply
C. Off-Site Rescheduling
- Rescheduling 7+ days in advance: no fee
- Rescheduling within 7 days: $50 rescheduling fee
- Rescheduling within 72 hours: $100 rescheduling fee
D. Minimum Attendance Requirements
Hosts are responsible for meeting the minimum attendance requirement:
- CPR/AED/First Aid: 6-person minimum (or equivalent payment)
- BLS for Providers: 6-person minimum (or equivalent payment)
If fewer participants attend, the host is still responsible for the minimum class requirements.
E. Off-Site Location Requirements
For safety and training effectiveness, the host must provide:
- Adequate open space for manikins and skills practice
- Clean floors or tables for equipment
- Climate-controlled environment
- Access to restrooms
- Quiet space free from interruptions
- Parking access for the instructor
If the environment is not suitable, CPR2UNM may cancel or reschedule the class; fees may apply.
F. Travel Fees (If Applicable)
Travel fees may apply based on distance from Albuquerque:
- 0–90 miles: No travel fee
- 91+ miles: $100
- 120+ miles: quoted individually
